  1. Seek input: Encourage open communication and collaboration among team members or stakeholders. Gather different perspectives and insights to gain a broader understanding of the problem and potential solutions. Foster an environment where people feel comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns.
  2. Generate potential solutions: Brainstorm possible solutions or approaches to address the problem. Encourage creativity and consider both conventional and out-of-the-box ideas. Aim for quantity over quality at this stage, as it allows for a wider range of options.
  3. Evaluate and prioritize solutions: Assess the feasibility, potential impact, and risks associated with each solution. Consider the resources, time constraints, and other relevant factors. Rank the solutions based on their potential effectiveness and viability.
